Friday July 14 Fellini’s Circus by Compagnia Artemis Danza will see its national debut. The magic of the circus and its characters comes alive in this show full of games and colours where dance and circus art intertwine, recreating the wonderful world of Federico Fellini, in an atmosphere full of poetry and emotion.

“Fellini’s Circus”, created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the artist’s death, catapults the spectator into a magical world, that of the circus, so cherished by the great Maestro.
Here, back to childhood a little and recovering those emotions so true and sincere that only childhood can give, he is transported to a new dimension where dance, made of harmony and movement, merges with surprising physical skills.

Stilt-walkers and contortionists, roue cyr and juggling, the eccentric comedy of acrobatic clowns are just some of the ingredients of a show that touches the deepest chords of our soul, thanks to the extraordinary skills of the circus artists and the performances of the dancers of the Artemis Danza Company. All accompanied by the musical notes of Nino Rota, from which Monica Casadei’s choreography comes to life.

An explosion of colours, music, costumes and images to celebrate a timeless world rich in history and traditions: the circus, which has always been able to enchant and make adults and children alike dream.
The same magical and colourful world so dear to Fellini, where diversity is a wealth and poetry a nourishment of the soul, so that all human beings, each with their own frailties and weaknesses, can feel free and find their place in the merry-go-round of life.
