Elvis Presley is the figure in modern music who has most profoundly marked art, music, and style of every subsequent era.

Elvis the Musical is a fast-paced and rhythmic show, dedicated to Presley’s successes from the 1950s until 1977, when the legend passed away. Through Elvis’ songs and the stories of various characters who lived around him, he reveals the background of a life dedicated to music and sacrificed to show business.

The show is played by a band that accompanies live, for just under two hours, a cast of 18 performers, through a historical period of over four generations up to the 70s, the most significant years for music. The scenography is enriched by videos that allow you to retrace, as if it were current, the unique experience of human tragedy and uncontainable success experienced by the greatest star of all time, The King of Rock’n’Roll Elvis Presley.

Elvis the Musical tells the tale of a boy who becomes king, even if it is a tale with a sad ending, perhaps because it bears witness to a real, albeit incredible, life. Many myths have disappeared or been forgotten, but even today the new generations know who Elvis is: The King is still recognized as an absolute and unforgettable icon. Songs such as Jailhouse Rock, It’s now or never, Suspicious Mind, My Way, That’s all-right mama, Always on my mind and the many other unforgettable soundtracks of a 4-decades-long era and still alive and contemporary accompany the audience of the show, who cannot help but become passionate about the story and its protagonists.

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

In case of unfavorable weather, Arena performances will be held on the same evening inside Teatro Sociale, without sets. If the performance is interrupted after the beginning of the show, because of bad weather conditions, tickets are non-refundable.
