Founded in 2002 by Maestro Avip Priatna and Maestro Toeti Heraty Roosseno, the Jakarta Concert Orchestra is one of Indonesia’s most prestigious professional orchestras, performing symphonic concerts that reach the highest artistic standards. What sets the JCO apart is its diverse repertoire.
Avip Priatna is Indonesia’s greatest conductor. He is the only Indonesian conductor who, for more than 20 years, has been performing all kinds of repertoire, from classical to traditional and contemporary music, and has received major national awards.
