The second title staged by the Teatro Sociale di Como entrusts the direction to Andrea Cigni. Conducting the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano will return Maestro Francesco Pasqualetti. The opera will feature an exceptional cast!

For the third title of the Opera Season, the Sociale has chosen one of Verdi’s best-loved titles: Rigoletto. It is directed by Matteo Marziano Graziano, a young Berlin-based avant-garde opera director known for his innovative and transformative artistic approach. With a deep knowledge of contemporary performance, installation art and experimental music theatre, Graziano has established himself as a visionary queer choreographer, theatre director, performer and interdisciplinary artist. The director will stage a contemporary Rigoletto.
