With a deep knowledge of contemporary performance, installation art and experimental music theatre, Graziano has established himself as a visionary queer choreographer, theatre director, performer and interdisciplinary artist. The director will stage a contemporary Rigoletto.

Based on Shakespeare's tragedy, I Capuleti e i Montecchi was composed by Vincenzo Bellini in yet another meeting with librettist Felice Romani. Bellini reserved the part of Romeo for a mezzo-soprano voice, tracing a tradition of en travesti roles. Wearing the role will be the Brescian mezzo-soprano Annalisa Stroppa, an assiduous performer of the role of Romeo and a frequent protagonist on European stages.

On stage, the return of great cellist Giovanni Sollima, now a friend of the Teatro Sociale. With him, the Israeli mandolin musician Avi Avital, the first mandolin soloist to be nominated for a classical Grammy, for his mastery of his instrument and his incredible virtuosity; passionate and 'explosively charismatic' in live performances, he is a driving force behind the reinvigoration of the mandolin repertoire. And again, Alessia Tondo, one of the most important voices on the music scene in Apulia, and Luca Tarantino at the guitar and theorbo.
