The performance comes from the encounter of multiple expressive plans. Hildegard von Bingen’s music, recitation of her texts and live painting art inspired by the performance and projected on a tarpaulin: a sort of jam session in which everything finds its place. There could be countless ways to describe Hildegard, who in the first century of the year 1000 was a mystic, healer, philosopher, theologian, poet, correspondent of popes and emperors. Here the figure who, even during the day, looks into the sky and sees the stars is celebrated. Stars moving, singing, speaking to her through the Living Light. The Hildegard of the elements and Viriditas is celebrated, the word she coined that identifies the lifeblood of Creation. The same creative power that she herself embodied in an extraordinary existence filled with luminous talents. A perfect testimony to Viriditas: its being and multiplying in all forms.
