There are four of us: Avi, Alessia, Luca, Giovanni. We each come from different experiences, different worlds, different paths, which could actually be more than four… Each of us has strong roots; from folk traditions to experimentation, passing through early music, improvisation, composition and other forms of art and languages. In common we have a strong passion for research and traces, and in some way we all come from the South, a South in a broad sense!
Even our curiosity, which is strong and shown in our music, works only seemingly far from each other – it comes from different places and different eras, but it intersects. In the end, a kind of labyrinth will be reduced to one big ‘path’, shared and experienced together.

On stage, the return of great cellist Giovanni Sollima, now a friend of the Teatro Sociale. With him, the Israeli mandolin musician Avi Avital, the first mandolin soloist to be nominated for a classical Grammy, for his mastery of his instrument and his incredible virtuosity; passionate and ‘explosively charismatic’ in live performances, he is a driving force behind the reinvigoration of the mandolin repertoire. And again, Alessia Tondo, one of the most important voices on the music scene in Apulia, and Luca Tarantino at the guitar and theorbo.
