Il punto centrale della ricerca ritmica e musicale del duo (Lorenzo d’Erasmo e Gabriele Lattuada) è il dialogo e la relazione fra tradizione e attualità. Il percussionista di oggi ricerca e individua timbriche non solo negli strumenti musicali ma anche negli oggetti e in molto altro. La ricerca timbrica è diventata pari a quella ritmica. Una caratteristica predominante di questo duo è l’aspetto legato all’improvvisazione. I brani proposti, infatti, scaturiscono da numerose sessioni di prove legate a questo aspetto e, per questo motivo, hanno caratteristiche di singolarità e diversità.

Lorenzo d’Erasmo and Gabriele Lattuada have focused their rhythmical and musical research on bringing tradition and novelty closer together. The modern-day percussionist’s research finds tones not only in musical instruments, but also in everyday objects, and much more, at a time when tone research has matched rhythmical research. The key feature of this duo is improvisation. The pieces they perform are the result of lengthy rehearsals focused on improvisation, which makes each performance unique and original.
In the event of bad weather, the performance will be held at Teatro Sociale.
