Enrico Rava, an internationally renowned Italian jazz musician, has always been involved in diverse and stimulating musical experiences. Emerging onto the jazz scene in the mid 60s, he quickly established himself as one of the most compelling soloists in European jazz. His straightforwardness, both human and artistic, sets him apart from all conventions, making him a rigorous musician yet unconcerned with established norms. Being awarded the “Top Jazz 2013” as the best new talent of the year, bestowed by Italy’s most reputable journalists for Musica Jazz magazine, firmly places Alessandro Lanzoni among the most distinctive jazz artists in Italy. His impressive curriculum, featuring experiences of the highest prestige, has garnered him attention in the musical world for several years now.
Having also emerged as a leader early on, the quartet is completed by a rhythm section composed of highly skilled musicians, such as Gabriele Evangelista on double bass and Enrico Morello on drums.

The evening will continue with jam sessions featuring various local bands in different rooms of the theater.
