Staging the famous masterpiece to the music of Adolphe Adam will be the Ballet of the Teatro Statale di Tbilisi.

To this day, Giselle is one of the world’s best-loved ballets and belongs to the works that have become a symbol of Romanticism: contradictions between dream and reality, lost illusions, nostalgic sadness for an ideal, all converge in the main theme of the story, namely profound and sacrificial love, the all-powerful love that overcomes death.

The show will feature the historical choreographies of Jules Perrot, Jean Coralli, Marius Petipa revived by choreographers Alexey Fadeecev and Nino Ananiashvili

Individual tickets for the performances will be on sale from Saturday 7 September at 10 a.m., at the theatre box office and online on this website.
