Emerging voices Competition

AsLiCo activities: Festival Como Città della Musica 2024, liric-symphonic concerts, Opera Education, other roles in the traditional Opera Season.

The AsLiCo competition has been the starting point for the careers of countless opera singers. Alongside true opera icons such as Renata Scotto, Carlo Bergonzi, Mirella Freni, Piero Cappuccilli and Katia Ricciarelli, to be remembered, over the past 15 years, are Gezim Myshketa, Alessandro Luongo, Davide Luciano, Teresa Iervolino, Federica Lombardi, Giovanni Sala, Federica Guida, Marigona Qerkezi, Caterina Sala.

The winners will take part in the training activities organised by the AsLiCo Academy, after which they will take part in the opera productions of the 2024/25 Season.

A number of winning singers from the first edition of AsLiCo Asia (Seoul-16 November 2023), in cooperation with the Beha Philharmonic Orchestra, will be admitted to the preliminary and semi-final rounds.
