CORI AL FEMMINILE / FEMALE CHOIRS

 

Sotto le volte del Broletto, nel cuore della città, due cori si incontrano per un concerto tutto al femminile in un gemellaggio musicale d’eccezione. Il coro comasco Hildegard von Bingen, diretto da Tiziana Fumagalli, incrocia il proprio repertorio di musica antica, in questo caso musiche di compositrici o dedicate alle donne, con quello del coro tedesco Effàta che esegue brani di Schubert e Rachmaninov. Il coro di Ingelheim am Rhein, diretto da Ilse Fenger, soprano di fama internazionale, è accompagnato al pianoforte da Christoph Berner, uno dei più conosciuti pianisti della scena europea.

Under the Broletto’s vaults, in the heart of the city, two choirs meet for an all-female concert in an exceptional musical twinning. The Como’s Choir Hildegard von Bingen, directed by Tiziana Fumagalli, crosses its repertoire of ancient music, in this case music bywomen composers or dedicated to women, with the repertoire of the German choir Effàta that performs songs by Schubert and Rachmaninov. The Ingelheimam Rhein’s Choir directed by Ilse Fenger, an internationally renowned soprano, is accompanied on the piano by Christoph Berner, one of the most famous pianists on the European scene. In caso di maltempo, l’evento si terrà nella vicina Chiesa di San Giacomo. In case of unfavourable weather, performance will be held at San Giacomo’s Church.
