Dynamic subscriptions 2024-25

Our DYNAMIC Season tickets allow the spectator to design their own itinerary, personally choosing within a single theatre season a cross-sectional combination of different shows. Depending on the combinations chosen (for 6, 9 or 12 titles of the playbill), various discounts from 10% up to 30% on the price of individual tickets will be applied. To each performance we have assigned a symbol of musical dynamics, from pianissimo to fortissimo, symbolically representing the colour palette of sounds. An opportunity for the audience to freely choose their own theatre…

CONCERTS SEASON TICKET 2024-25

2024-25 CONCERT SEASON 9 shows: Beethoven's Ninth (19/10); Jakarta Concert Orchestra (25/10); Sentieri (23/01) featuring Israeli mandolin player Avi Avital and the great cellist Giovanni Sollima; the Arcadia Orchestra (9/03); the Chinese Spring (12/05) will present a series of traditional lyrics and melodies, performed by Liao Changyong; the Season ends with I musici del Teatro alla Scala (19/02); the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali (11/04); pianist Mariangela Vacatello in Voyages dans la nuit (16/04) and as per tradition the final Como Conservatory Brass Orchestra (7/05).

The Ninth Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven turns 200 years old and is considered the monument of music of all times. The execution at the Teatro Sociale Como will feature the AsLiCo Choir, the Canova Chamber Orchestra and four young soloists conducted by Maestro Enrico Saverio Pagano.

On stage, the return of great cellist Giovanni Sollima, now a friend of the Teatro Sociale. With him, the Israeli mandolin musician Avi Avital, the first mandolin soloist to be nominated for a classical Grammy, for his mastery of his instrument and his incredible virtuosity; passionate and 'explosively charismatic' in live performances, he is a driving force behind the reinvigoration of the mandolin repertoire. And again, Alessia Tondo, one of the most important voices on the music scene in Apulia, and Luca Tarantino at the guitar and theorbo.

Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali

Two composers, representative of the classical-romantic repertoire par excellence, observed through two exemplary pages from their catalogue: the Concerto in D major for violin and orchestra op. 61 by Ludwig van Beethoven (1806) and the Symphony No. 3 in A minor op. 56 "Scottish" by Felix Mendelssohn (1842) entrusted to the baton of the Pomeriggi Musicali's guest conductor Stefano Montanari and a star of the bow such as Viktoria Mullova. The Concerto offers wonders of lyricism and vivacity, characterising some pages from the central season of the great composer's creativity.
