The Ninth Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven turns 200 years old and is considered the monument of music of all times. Through its four movements, this symphony is a grand journey from darkness to light, the passage from a state of anguish, frenzy, breathlessness, through hope, sweetness, to joy.
To this day, Giselle is still one of the world's best-loved ballets and belongs to the works that have become a symbol of romanticism.
The performance will feature the historical choreographies of Jules Perrot, Jean Coralli, Marius Petipa revived by choreographer Konstantin Sergeev, sets and costumes by Tatiana Bruni. Staging the famous masterpiece to the music of Adolphe Adam will be the Ballet of the National Opera of Ukraine, one of Europe's best-known companies.

Company Artemis Danza, with this new creation by Monica Casadei, dedicates its artistic project to four fascinating heroines of the composer Giacomo Puccini whose centenary since his death falls: Tosca, Madama Butterfly, Mimì and Turandot.
For the third title of the Opera Season, the Sociale has chosen one of Verdi’s best-loved titles: Rigoletto. It is directed by Matteo Marziano Graziano, a young Berlin-based avant-garde opera director known for his innovative and transformative artistic approach. With a deep knowledge of contemporary performance, installation art and experimental music theatre, Graziano has established himself as a visionary queer choreographer, theatre director, performer and interdisciplinary artist. The director will stage a contemporary Rigoletto.
